Enrique Peñalosa, former city mayor of Bogotá, comes to give a lecture on city visions and political leadership.

Enrique Peñalosa - politician, city visionary and ex-mayor of Bogotá - manage to transform Bogotá through his strong political leadership. Among other initiatives he was behind introducing cableways as public transport for informal settlements, open architecture competitions for public buildings, and down-prioritization of car infrastructure in favour of public transit systems. Today he is a frequent public speaker and advier, for among others Michael Bloomberg, the mayor of New York City, and the BMW Guggenheim lab.
