DK-CM: "Recent work"

David Knight and Cristina Monteiro will present recent work by their practice DK-CM. Their work encompasses architecture, urbanism, research, activism and publishing, and they will present a series of projects which stretch across these areas of work: a published guidebook to working with planning rules; a new town square in an East London suburb; a project to register the pub as a world heritage site, and a series of public space interventions in Southall.

 is an architecture and research studio founded in 2012 by David Knight and Cristina Monteiro, building on many years of collaborative practice.The studio is currently engaged in masterplanning, public realm and civic projects for various sites on the periphery of London. David is a tutor and research student at the  and is also co-author of   (2009). In 2012 DK-CM were invited exhibitors at the  .  

The KTH Arkitekturskolan master studio Design Process is collaborating with DK-CM in the workshop Fittja Centra, organized on the occasion of Fittja Open in September 2013.
