MAIN TRACKS:

  1. PERCEPTION – refers to basic knowledge of the relation between the human being and sensory stimuli like light, sound, haptics and taste. How for instance factors like intensity, rhythm, color and distribution affect human perception visually, emotionally and/or bodily.
  2. ARCHITECTURE – refers to interaction between light and lighting and the physical environment, related to material, space, colour, form and size, proportion factors. How architects in challenging conditions used tectonics and typology in order to create inspiring daylighting and lighting design solutions.
  3. HEALTH – refers to a structured principal application of how the basic health knowledge can be implemented in every day environments, affecting comfort, functionality and wellbeing. How innovative and sustainable design can cope with health and well-being questions.
  4. DESIGN – refers to the professional lighting design approach. How development of professional theory, concept and methodology can be carried out for optimizing the quality of future lighting installations.
